About the artist
Painting is a siren. When I paint, it’s often as if the subject is the painter. I feel like a bridge between the canvas and the subject. Perhaps you find a unique painting connection here.
ABOUT ME:
Painting was not my career, but I continued drawing or painting. During COVID, I was lucky to have extraordinary art mentors supporting my late art bloom. I began to work in colored pencils, evolving to oil, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Although I work in several mediums, I paint primarily in watercolor and acrylic. Happiness is painting every day. Twenty-some years baking in the Arizona sunlight influences color choices. My chill Northwest roots do tell in subject choices. My paintings have been shown in several local venues and galleries. Recently, I began painting commissions. I’d be happy to discuss current or future paintings with you.
